Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Nutritional Therapy Work?
Nutritional Therapy takes a holistic approach. It considers the body as a whole, as opposed to treating only one body system as often symptoms can be interlinked. As a Nutritional Therapist I work with you as an individual to identify the root cause for the issues and symptoms you are experiencing, this may involve diagnostic tests that offer a more detailed analysis and can often be the answer to why diets or other treatments have not worked. I offer both nutritional and lifestyle advice, along with practitioner grade supplements (where required) with each of the packages available and provide practical tips to keep you on track, supporting you throughout your journey to optimal health.
What is Diagnostic Testing?
Diagnostic testing provides a detailed analysis and identifies any underlying imbalances that may be impacting your health by examining hormone levels, genetic variants, nutritional status and more. Tests are done via stool samples, hair or saliva analysis, blood tests depending on the test required and will provide health information on the things we can’t see. As a Nutritional Therapist, I can interpret these results to provide a more comprehensive plan into your program, tailored specifically to you and your body.
How do I get started with Nutritional Therapy?
It’s easy to get started. Select the program that is right for you and meets your needs from the Services page and click on the “Sign Up Now” link. Alternatively, you can go directly to our Contact Us page and complete your details in “Get In Touch” boxes.
How do I know which Program is right for me?
If you are unsure which program is right for you, then we offer free 15 minute calls (with no obligations) to discuss your health journey. This can help us understand your goals and aims and allow us to recommend the appropriate program to meet your needs
Do you accept insurance?
No, I don’t currently work with health insurance companies however, I can provide an invoice for you to submit. Please contact your insurance company to find out if they reimburse for out-of-network nutritional therapy.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, then I ask you notify me at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment. This will allow me to offer the time to someone else. If no notice is provided then one session is deducted from your nutrition programme to cover costs.
