And for something sweet, dried fruit dipped in dark chocolate or make mini pots with Greek yogurt sprinkled with dark chocolate shavings and fresh mint on top. Delicious!<\/p><p>Nobody is really thinking about exercising at this time of year, especially with the long dark nights but that shouldn\u2019t stop us heading out for a weekend walk with the family (and dog!) and breathing in some fresh air to rejuvenate ourselves. Afterwards treat yourself to a cosy Sunday roast with a plate full of protein, lots of root vegetables and dark leafy greens to pack in those much-needed nutrients.<\/p><p>And make the main event, Christmas dinner, a plateful of goodness with plenty of vegetables. Packed on those parsnips, carrots, swede, brussel sprouts and red cabbage.
